Tuesday, January 15 at 12 Noon (FPC sanctuary)
The keynote speaker will be newly elected judge Anita Earls. The event program will also include remarks from local leaders and elected officials along with musical selections from the Durham City-County MLK Employee Choir. The event is free and open to the public.

The livestream radio broadcast of the King’s College Lessons and Carols event at FPC has been cancelled.
3:00 p.m. – Worship with communion and candles (in the sanctuary) – A simple 45-minute service featuring carols from around the world. Childcare provided for younger children.
5:00 p.m. – Communion and Candlelight Service (in the sanctuary) – The birth of the Christ Child is celebrated in word and song with Communion by candlelight. Childcare provided for younger children.
An offering will be received at both services to support Welcome Baby and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC.

Advent Midweek Caroling and Worship

Join us as we gather this final Advent Wednesday, December 19 on the Main Street steps for candlelight caroling at 5:45 p.m. followed by a procession of light into the sanctuary where worship with Holy Communion will begin at 6:00 p.m. A light supper will be provided at 6:30 p.m. in Watts-Hill Hall. Donations will be received to offset meal costs. Mary Berry will give the meditation.
